Why do so many of today's NFL QB's suck?

There are the clear-cut top guys (Manning, Brees, Rivers, Brady, Rodgers, Favre, Warner, etc...). Then, there are the rest (Quinn, Russell, Garrard, Campbell, Delhomme, etc...). My question, is where did the talent go? Why are so many teams being led by such bad performers?
