Protein Skimmer Draining Question?

I was wondering if anybody thinks it would be a good idea to run a line from the waste collection cup on a protein skimmer to the water drain in your house, so that it constantly drains itself into the sewer. I highly doubt it would flow fast enough that it would back up, and if it has a water sprayer connected to the collection cup like the emperor aquatic models have, it wouldn't be thick enough to clog up the pipes. anybody think this is a good idea?
