Im looking at getting a tattoo, but im worried about the price, help?

I want to get a fairly detailed phoenix on my right calf, but before my consultation i was wondering about price, i heard some shops charge by the hour and some by the session. Does anybody know the average price of tattoo's per hour and per session???
