Need original idea for a school project (physics and literature/history)?

Hi, me and my friends have to do a school project on something related with physics and literature or science history. We have had a few ideas like photography, expeditions (space and sea) and monuments. But we are afraid that these ideas have been used too much already, would anybody have some decent subjects to propose?
