Good workouts to lose weight?

I cant give you a perfect advice. All i can do is give you an example of what I have been doing lately to lose some weight : I avoid eating sweets, and junk food. I don't drink anything else but water . I go jogging 1 hour every day. For the chest I do 5x5 sets of push ups. Its not much cuz I am a lazy person ^^ but this way I lost about 1kg every weak for the last 2 months.
