G flavored cigar had no g taste, wtf?

I smoked a g flavored cigar, but it had no g taste. It was pre cut so I just light it up and started smokin but all I tasted was smoke. It smelled good before I lit it, but once it lit it was sick. Did I do something wrong? I'm pretty sure it was just straight forward and I'm ok but since there was no flavor I'm kinda pissed off.
